Hasan Mahir Şiranlı

Hasan Mahir Şıranlı, born in 1981 in Istanbul, is the third generation in his family to work in the furniture design industry. Growing up surrounded by design and production, he developed a deep passion for the field from a young age. This natural interest led him to pursue a career in furniture design, where he has made a significant impact.

He graduated from Yeditepe University in 2004 with a degree in Industrial Product Design. His education gave him a solid foundation in design principles and a refined understanding of both aesthetics and functionality. Hasan has worked with major brands in the Turkish furniture market, contributing to the evolution of modern design. In 2010, he was honored with the Good Design Award from the Design Turkey competition.

Hasan’s work is known for its modern, minimalist style and his deep knowledge of production processes. He combines form and function, creating furniture that is both visually striking and highly practical. His designs, such as the Aprikot and Milet sofas, are celebrated for their simplicity and innovative approach.

In 2012, Hasan began a successful partnership with Moreno, where he designed the Aprikot and Milet sofas, both of which were widely acclaimed. Since then, his collaboration with the brand has resulted in iconic pieces like the Swan, Ju, and Hector sofas. These pieces have garnered international recognition for their clean lines and exceptional quality, contributing to Moreno’s reputation for high-quality, stylish, and functional furniture.
